Yöre halkının üniversiteye bakışı ve beklentileri:Kars Kafkas Üniversitesi örneği

Abstract

In this study focuses on three issues, which are the influence of Kafkas University on the development of the city of Kars, the current institutional image of the university and the expectations of people living in the region from Kafkas University. The first aim of the study is to examine the present institutional image of Kafkas University in order to create a database for university policy makers. The second aim is to investigate how a university contributes the development of aN under-developed city. And the third one is to contribute the literature on this field. The study is based on an applied research that has employed qualitative research method and its data collection tool.

Çalışmanın konusu üniversitenin kent kalkınmasına etkisi, Kafkas Üniversitesi’nin kurumsal imajı ve yöre halkının Kafkas Üniversitesi’nden beklentilerinden oluşuyor. Çalışmanın amacı üniversitenin kurumsal imajını belirlemek, üniversite imaj yönetimi için veritabanı oluşturulmasına katkı sağlamak, geri kalmış kentlerin kalkınmasında bir etken olarak üniversitenin önemini belirlemek ve literatüre katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu çalışma alan araştırma modelinde yapıldı. Verilerin büyük çoğunluğu nitel yöntemle toplandı.
